McWilliam came to the Windsock market 30 years ago and set new standards of visibility, long life and service for pilots and airfield operators.
Our Windsocks are successfully in use at many airstrips, gas & oil rigs, industrial sites, heliports, RAF, all the British Aerospace Airfields & most major UK Airports including London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. 
Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool, Norwich, East Midlands, Leeds, Humberside, Bournemouth, Isle of Man and the Highlands and Islands also use McWilliam Windsocks.
We have sold Windsocks to the Middle East for safety in Oil Fields and have customers in Germany, The Netherlands and Norway.
All our steel structures are galvanised after manufacture for long life. We also use Aluminium for some masts should you want something lighter. Nylon is avoided because of it’s unsatisfactory Ultra Violet resistance in sunlight, we prefer to use Polyester for the majority of our Windsocks, it also has a longer lifespan than nylon.
