El Aero Services, Inc.

The company that eventually became El Aero Services began as Gourley Flying Service at the Elko Airport during World War II, primarily as a flight instruction school.  At the end of WWII, the GI Bill made funds available to furloughed servicemen for flight instruction.  Flight instruction and agricultural spraying were the main revenue sources for the company.
