Jones Day opened its offices in Washington, DC in 1946 with four lawyers. Today, approximately 250 lawyers practice in the historic Acacia Building with spectacular rooftop views of the Capitol and in an adjoining state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building designed by Pritzker-award-winning architect Sir Richard Rogers. Our attorneys represent clients nationally and internationally in a broad range of practice areas, including: antitrust, government regulation, labor and employment, employee benefits, intellectual property, trial and appellate litigation, product liability, energy, health care, investigations and white collar defense, securities enforcement, tax, M&A, financial institutions, and bankruptcy.
