Burwood Aviation Supplies Ltd is a 100% privately owned, independent aircraft component stockist/distributor in the UK. The Company was originally formed in February 1995 by the Golding Family as a Father & Son partnership using Daron’s knowledge gained within the sector as a buyer and Frank’s business experience of over 35 years at the time, working for an airline and then starting his own freight forwarding business SA Freight, which he subsequently sold.The business was originally stationed in humble surroundings, being a back bedroom of Frank’s house, with no stock, just a bunch of ideas and much enthusiasm. Quickly the business grew and the company moved to a hangar at Fairoaks Airport, Chobham, where it was stationed for 12 years during the next chapter of our history, until February 2007. During this period it was decided to start a new company to deal with specific products, being aircraft and commercial fasteners, this was when Burwood Fastener Products was formed. After a year Frank decided to sell the growing Burwood Fasteners, in a management buyout and we moved back into the original core business of solely supporting major operators and MRO’s with aircraft rotables. In 2008 Daron purchased Franks share of Burwood Aviation and moved the company to its current location on the South Coast of England. The company has a fully owned 22,000+ sq. ft. self-contained facility in Verwood, Dorset with over 25,000 line items in stock, covering the majority of major aircraft platforms. We are proud of our history and are known within the aviation community for our fast, reliable and proactive solutions to customer needs, with these ethics being enforced right throughout the business.
