A-1 Machining was incorporated in 1979 to serve the machining needs of the turbine engine OEMs. Since then A-1 has operated 24 hours a day with the singular purpose of satisfying our customers. One hallmark of A-1’s customer relationships is they are long and solid some extending back to our beginning.

A-1 has engineered and machined thousands of parts and components for the turbine industry over the past decades for a wide range of customers. It is our consistency of focus, responsiveness and performance which has created our excellent legacy.

A-1 was acquired by Lionheart Industrial Group (LIG) in August of 2007 as its aerospace business division. LIG is an industrial operating company that focuses on long term business-building driven by organic growth complemented by acquisitions. As part of LIG, A-1 has expanded its facility and business growth through capital investments and strategic guidance.

LIG’s holdings include eleven successful acquisitions that align under four strategic platform business units, serving the combustion, aerospace and defense, centrifugal pumps and pneumatic actuators and valves sectors.
